About me
Hi, I’m Katarzyna.
I’m a film director, screenwriter and producer. I work on commercials, music videos and short films, and at the heart of everything I do are stories that evoke emotion and leave a lasting impression on the audience.
I always approach my work with honesty and complete dedication. I am most fascinated by finding the right visual language – sometimes subtle and intimate, and sometimes bold and full of energy. I feel most satisfied when a film starts to live its own life and connects with the viewer.
I have had the pleasure of working with clients such as Orange, Enea, Bricomarche, Lidl, John Dog, European Space Agency and Stork Cargo Bikes, as well as independent creators and cultural institutions. One of my short documentary films “Cheesecake” is part of the permanent exhibition at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
On set, I act as both director and creative partner, as I believe that collaboration, openness and the exchange of ideas lead to the best results.

2022 – my treatment for a series of educational movies about Jewish Culture won the contest organized by the Museum of History of Polish Jews POLIN in Warsaw. As a result, in 2022, I wrote and directed a series of three 10-minute videos for teenagers covering the essential aspects of Jewish Culture. The finished videos you’ll find in the portfolio section
2021 – I got to the final stage of the international scriptwriting competition “New Worlds”, organized by the European Space Agency. As a result, I won funds for developing a short fiction script “Hey, Galaxy”. More about the project in the portfolio section.
2020 – I won a film call organized by the Museum of History of Polish Jews POLIN. As a result, I did a short documentary about the contemporary community of Polish Jews in Melbourne, Australia. More about the project in the portfolio section.
